With Davina Porter retiring, the widely popular Outlander audiobooks was without a narrator for the final story in the series. Until Kristin Atherton took over the helm. Not only will she narrate book ten, she will go back in to narrate all nine Outlander editions previous as a companion to Davina Porters.

Well....THIS! I know everybody has been enjoying the Outlander books as audiobooks, read by Davina Porter, for many years, and I'm no exception!
However, Davina delayed her retirement a few years ago in order to read GO TELL THE BEES THAT I AM GONE--but now she _has_ entered a well-deserved (and, we hope, Extremely Happy) retirement.
So, you ask, what about BOOK TEN?!?
Have no fear--BOOK TEN will be read by the splendid actress, Kristin Atherton, whom you've seen most recently as the older Jenny Fraser Murray in the TV show.
In addition, she'll be producing a new version of the first nine books in the series--but don't worry, they're meant to stand beside Davina's version, not replace them!
(Personally, I've read several series of audiobooks where the narrator has changed, for whatever reason, and while I still like (and re-listen) to the earlier books with the original narrator, I usually find new and interesting takes (accents, pitch, pacing, etc.) on the characters, as read by the different narrators.)
In other words, all of the present audiobooks, read by Davina, will still be available as always--but we'll have the new versions (plus BOOK TEN, when the time comes) done by Kristin, as well.
The bottom line here is that both these most excellent ladies are Actresses, who bring all their talent and personality to each performance.
OUTLANDER in audio, read by Kristin, will be on sale on April 29th--I can't wait to hear it!
