Although Diana Gabaldon did not pen either story for tv and will not tell the story of Claire Beauchamp's parents in any of her books, she will however have a Novella finished sometime in the near future about Jamie's parents, Black Brian (Lovatt) and Ellen MacKenzie.
That's a wrap... No series air date yet... We will update the blog post when it is announced... I'm curious why it says season one? More seasons would be very interesting.

A few surprises. It seems we get a peek at the childhood of the clan in Blood of My Blood! Grant O'Roarke and Stephen Walters announced on Father's day that their real life sons play their characters as wee ones. Not sure how this fits into the story, but it could be, a day in the life at castle Leoch kind of scene.
