OUTLANDER has celebrated yet more award glory after the show's team picked up three gongs at the Women's Image Network (WIN) Awards.

The WIN awards are designed to celebrate influential artists and to advance opportunities for women in the media.

With 13 different categories, the awards have been hosted annually since 1993.

Outlander won the Outstanding Drama Series category for the episode "The Garrison Commander".

The Starz time travel epic beat off competition from Bates Motel, How To Get Away With Murder, The Returned, UnREAL and Empire to pick up the award.

Caitriona Balfe , who plays leading character Claire Fraser in the series, also scooped the award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series.

The Irish actress was also nominated for her stunning performance in "The Garrison Commander", where she finds herself alone with the dangerous Black Jack Randall.

Toni Graphia won Outstanding Show or Film Written by a Woman for her episode “The Devil’s Mark”.

The show's fantastic writers were highlighter as Outlander's Anne Kenney was nominated in the same category for her episode “The Wedding”.

Anna Foerster was also nominated for her work on “The Wedding” in the Show/Film Directed by a Woman category, which was won by Helen Shaver for Vikings episode "The Upsurper".

Outlander author Diana Gabaldon took to Twitter to offer her congratulations to the cast and crew following the big news.

The show's team will be celebrating the award announcements in Scotland as they continue to work on the highly anticipated second season.

The story, which is based on Diana Gabaldon's second novel Dragonfly in Amber, sees Claire and Jamie (Sam Heughan) try to change the course of history in Paris by attempting to stop the Jacobite rising by seeking out Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Outlander Season 2 is set to air in April.
