OUTLANDER author Diana Gabaldon admits she wouldn’t change any scene from her hit series.

During a recent Q&A at George Mason University in Virginia, Diana was asked if she would change or rewrite any particular character or scene.

She replied: “I can’t think that there is any scene and certainly there is no character that I would change.

“I would rewrite the Gaelic in the first two books because I didn’t have a good translator it is all very clumsy. But other than that I don’t think I would change anything, no.”

• Diana was collecting the Fall for the Book 2015 Mason Award from the Fairfax Library Foundation.

American production company Starz TV has adapted the first of the best-selling eight-book series and countries around the world are snapping up the rights.
