Droughtlander is in full swing, but we've got a little treat to ease the withdrawal pains – an exclusive track from the show's new album!

"The Key to Lallybroch" is from volume 2 of Outlander's original television soundtrack, available Sept. 25. You might remember this romantic number from the Starz series' midseason premiere, "The Reckoning," in which Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) realize that marriage isn't as easy as they thought it would be.

They spend most of the episode arguing after Jamie famously spanks Claire for disobeying him. But, at the very end, they make up the wayOutlander does best: with a sex scene.

"To me, this track is one of the most complete statements of the Claire and Jamie Theme that I ever wrote for the first season," composer Bear McCreary tells PEOPLE of setting the mood for that episode's final scene. "Their reunion – and subsequent steamy sex scene – at the episode's conclusion is all the more poignant because we've seen them at their breaking points."

He adds, "My hope was that my score can help the audience feel as I did when I first watched this scene: that this is the moment their relationship truly solidifies, and is forever redefined. "
