Story

Last Wednesday, a large group of us participated in a 5K (it was more like 7K!) walk throughout historic Old Quebec City to raise money and awareness for World Child Cancer. We were honored to be joined by World Child Cancer Chairman, Gordon Morrison, as well as Outlander’s own Gillebride MacMillan, Adhamh O’Broin, and his lovely wife Lisa who joined us from Scotland. We’d love to reach 200% of our goal—can you help?

We will be accepting donations through August 15th and anyone that donates $20 or more will be entered into a drawing for a swag bag from our Outlandish Gathering which includes a wine tote, Fraser et Cie corkscrew/bottle opener (verra handy indeed!), logo pen, Outlandish Gatherings airmail luggage tag, maple leaf maple sugar lollipop, key to Lallybroch ornament, a dragonfly necklace, keychain from Les Fetes de La Nouvelle France, hedgehog lanyard pin, Outlandish Gatherings button, Outlandish Gatherings travel sewing kit, Outlandish Gatherings flip straw water bottle, a lanyard and badge holder. You’ll also receive a World Child Cancer teeshirt signed by their patron, Caitriona Balfe. We’ll select two runners up to receive a handmade dragonfly motif tile featuring a passage torn from a page of Dragonfly in Amber.

Contest is open to donors worldwide—but you must provide your name and the amount donated to be entered into the drawing so that we may contact you. Drawing takes place on August 16th.
