The Whole Hound - Drinking Outlander Style - http://whiskyisms.com/
For those who know whisky (or whiskey, depending on the country of origin), this blog may be superfluous as you already know and love the "Wee Dram" Highlanders favored. With a little help from some friends, I discovered whisky. Because it's mentioned in the book, and because I saw it at my favorite warehouse store, I tried Lagavulin for the first time and ended up liking it. I also recently tried Glenlivit and am enjoying that. Two brands of whisky does not an expert make, so let me share with you a wee blog by a friend, Nancy, who is an expert. Her webpage is Whiskyisms.com and she created it just for newbies like me. But there's something for even the whisky aficionado there, so visit her blog and happy sipping!
